The cast of Lifetime’s upcoming series The Client List just got better, or if you’re not averse to lame puns, a bit more divine. Loretta Devine is set to play a role in Lifetime series that sounds like it could be quite a bit more scandalous than what we’ve seen from her in recent parts. The Client List is based on a Lifetime movie from 2010, which starred Jennifer Love Hewitt and Cybill Shepherd and followed a Texas housewife who ends up running a massage parlor that’s secretly a prostitution service. The series will presumably continue the story with Hewitt reprising her role as Riley and Shepherd once again, playing her mother.
