“The Client List” The Complete 1st Season On DVD In 2013

In 2010 the Lifetime channel aired a telefilm called The Client List, based on a real-life 2004 Texas prostitution scandal, and early in 2011 Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released that production on DVD. The TV movie and the DVD were well received, so Lifetime decided to move forward with turning the story into a weekly TV series…but with significant changes.
The network, the show title, the general premise, the star (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and the actress playing the main character’s mother (Cybill Shepherd) were all the same. But the rest of the cast changed, as did the name of all the characters…including the characters played by Hewitt and Shepherd! But in April 2012, Lifetime debuted broadcasts for their revamped version of the story with The Client List – The Complete 1st Season, and it’s done well enough to be renewed for a second season next year…and for a DVD to be planned as well! Sony hasn’t officially announced the 3-disc set as of this writing, so we don’t have a date or all the details yet. But the cost is $45.99 SRP, and you can pre-order it from Amazon.com.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was snapped Thursday in Los Angeles on the set of the series 9-1-1 with Angela Bassett, in a first look at the actress since she replaced Connie Britton on the show three months back.
